Well I have finally opend my First Arcade with phpAS, and I would like to say a really big Thank You to Scott for his patience, hard work on customizing the script for me, and adding in everything I requested and then some, Thanks!.

http://DumpGames.com/

I originally got the idea from iceman35 (owner of OnlineFlashGamez.com) after I did a design for him to which Scott had made him a similer script, then with his permission, I decided to make my very own site with a similer style.
So I purchsed the Domain from, Fahd made the design, sliced/coded it, then handed it over to Scott to work his magic. Becuase of the domain being "Dump"Games I also asked Scott to intergrate the phpLinkDropper script for me to so other site owners could "Dump" there games.

And now the site is complete and must say I am quite proud of it, as its my very first arcade.

The Index displays the Game Catergories in random positions each time the pahe is loaded, it also displays the games in each catergory randomly. Then on hover over the game links it shoes the Game Icon and Description.

I showed the site to a few people and one comman issue was that they found the Random Catergories quite annoying, so I would like you feedback on this.
Should I leave it as it is, should I order the Catergories Alphabetically or should I add in a Navigation for the Catergories, maybe even both, I just need some other views on this, as most of the people here have been around in the Arcade scene alot longer then me.

I am also open to any feedback you may have on the site, be it good or bad, so please do leave some.

I would also like to say Thanks to Terabyte, I purchased his Flash Games Pack and he gave me some Great support with some SQL issues I faced, great person to do business with.

Also, I would appreciate any Link Exchanges anyone would like to do with me. The site will officially be opened to all tommorrow, which is when I will let my Banner Networks impressions on it and start my ad campaigns.

omfg thats nice! only problem i have is that i dont like the categories moving around, as it would get confusing for someone looking for a certain genre.

Im trading links with my new arcade (hiredgames using the 2.13 beta so the design is the orignal one until the full version comes out) and my other arcade hatetime (template change when the new version is out of beta)

Thanks killaklown
As for the random catergory positions, one of the reasons  I posted here was to get some more feedback on it, seems quite a few people are not liking this idea very much, so I may order the catergories alphabetically, add in a navigation, or maybe even both.

As for the Link Trade thanks, are you going to add my link to your sites then signup to my site with the ref link? or some otherway, let me know by PM.

*Edit* Nevermind, I see you have done so already, I have activated your links. Thanks. Smiley

Well I decided to make the Catergories static since quite a few people found it annoying having to look for the catergory each time. Undecided

Thanks tfgames, I wanted to do somthing unique to most other arcades which is why I went with this idea as for it being "busy", I think this is because of the way its layed out and the ads.

killaklown, I am mainly using banner exchanges and link exchanges, so far I have not spent anything on ads, but I have a very big budget I will be using over the next few months on advertisments.

FunCyber.com, Thanks, that was actually one of idea for it, with the games ands ads setup like so, it would get a better CTR and so far this has proven pretty true.

From yesterday afternoon, and so far today, the site has received 2,949 uniques, and all of these hits are from my banner exchanges. Grin

Naw, I was in a big long conversation with the guy interested for 16-17 days, everyday we would go through the same thing over and over, traffic, income and the rest, I would reply, then he would ask for paypal email, next day, no money, jsut more questions lol
In the end I just told him the site wasn't for him.
