Friends i love the script by seeing the demo site, loads of features and a nice points system. My only question is how active is the development of the script and community ? For support and minor tweaks etc ?

Hi,
Regarding the community's activity, i think it is close to zero. So, i asked many questions around here and i see that most of the topics were posted and still unanswered since last year, 2010. So, i think it is not the best way to treat customers, but ... that's the way things go...

My website is http://www.jocurisupertari.ro. The script is very good, at least in my opinion. The only thing i don't like is this lack of activity on the forums. For instance, i would like to have the tags back, on every game's page. In v3.0 they were there, in v4.0 they don't have them. I got no response for many questions. |

That is a very nice site friend. I have bought and tried AV Arcade, onarcade, Arcadem and the arcade plugin for wordpress. Believe it or not the best was the wordpress plugin. Excellent layout, great features etc. You did a fantastic job with your site.

Is there a points system and a leader board friend ? Oh if you would like to see any of the arcade scripts i have tried, i can set them up live for you. The one thing the wordpress plugin lacks is a points system.

I think this arcade platform, PhpArcadeScript is probably the best around. It is very good at SEO and you can modify it further without any problems. It does have a points system and it works. You define how many points a user earns for playing one game and the system does the job for you.
I am very very satisfied with this platform. The only thing i don't like is the lack of templates, there are just a few and they are kind of expensive, at least for me, around 67$ the cheapest, and the lack of tags (with links) underneath each game in version 4.0.
Those tag links were very useful for SEO but they're not included in version 4.0

There are templates and service providers around here like arcadecreate, arcadecircle, bigdogarcade, phparcadetemplates.

Yes, you're right but those that come with the platform are very very ugly. You are, in a way or another, forced to buy a template because the available ones are ...
Besides that, the support around these forums i see is very poor. For instance I asked about game tags in v4.0 and no answer untill now...maybe ever...

Ok, i believe you when you say tags will be brought back, but when will that be? As you know, the faster, the better. It's no use to give me water after i have died of thirst, right? That's the situation with the game tags, i myself need them fast. To be honest, if i knew v4 had no tags, i wouldn't have installed it.

At the moment I can not give you any date when the tags will be brought back. First priority right now is to take care of the bugs in the script and improve the foundation around the community and customer area. Once this has been taken care of we will look into expanding the features and add new functionality.
