Sorry bro, but quality will always be better than quantity. You have so many games, no user will go through them all and if he doesnt see a fun game on the home page or 2 or 3 pages into browsing, I guarantee you he'll bounce.

Another thing, you've got asian porn games on your site and you are running adsense ads. If you wish to keep using adsense and you dont want your site being blacklisted by google search engine, you need to remove those games ASAP.

It's either porn or no porn, you cant have both, especially if you dont have a pre-site loading page that specifically states you must be 18+ to enter because site contains adult natured material. And even then you are violating google adsense TOS.

So what you suggest is just to copy the content from the other game sites and put it on my first page - this is very original - and this is what everybody does. Sorry but I don't agree on that. What's the point of having the same content as the others do? And what is very quality game - there is no exact definition of quality game. I want to concentrate on the games developed by independent game developers and to avoid games from the big monopoly portal like newgrounds and kongregate. Only this I will be able to deliver different and original content that will help me to distinguish from them. The big monopoly portals can no longer dictate the games that we were always forced to play. They don't distribute my content so why should I distribute their?

I agree to Assassin that Quality over Quantity games but If you create site that is only your hobby and you are not in a hurry earning money and your dedicated to only 1 site. But in my case I don't have time examining all the games because I need the money and I am creating arcade sites for profit. I can do that in the future when I earned more money on my sites. I just hire people to do that for me. We have different styles. There are things that work for me but not for some peepz.

Do what you want bro, its your site. Im saying from experience, I have 2 profitable arcades running right now. My best site has 110 handpicked games. Every one of them gets multiple plays a day. Ive got a bounce rate of 17% from over 800uvs a day.

Trust me, there are more sites out there that load up on thousands of games from the same game packs you have used. My first arcade I did this and it was a failure. I took what I learned from that site and built 2 great sites. The only original content you have on your site are your porno games. Dont say we didnt warn you when you get banned from Google.

where can i go to learn more about setting up a gaming site

and on average, with 1000 visitors a day, (is that a high number or a low number?) and each one plays 10 minutes of games with mochiads, (i think that's what it is) then about how much does a game site owner make a day ... $0.004 a day or $0.04 a day or $0.40 a day or $4.00 a day ?

Some of my games are good, others are crap. At least I don't do what the big portals do: manipulating votes and deleting comments... you know who I'm talking about: the people who release crappy games (like you are square and you have to kill all evil rectangles or you are a circle and you have to save your brother triangle) and say: this is the best game ever  - it's only us who deliver quality games the others are rubbish...

Didinko, I do have to agree with you on the point of other portals manipulating, and deleteing comments, but Im not sure how common this is. I know I dont do it unless the comment is inappropriate.

Thats cool that you have created your porn games. Haha I only wish I knew how to write games (one of these days). I only told you this as if I didnt and you got booted from Google, then it would be partially my fault to (as I see it) as you werent warned.

I personally play every game I add and usually make my own thumbnails. I agree with you that there are so many crap games out there, especially on mochiads. But bro, you shouldnt have porn games next to girl dress up games that target pre-teen kids. And please, write an intro page notifying visitors that you have adult content on your site.

http://www.8hourarcade.com is an excellent guide on building your first arcade site. As mentioned above, the talk arcades forum is great to (and you can get games from other members)

1000 visitors a day isnt extremely high. Its actually on the low side. But unless you have a lot of funds and resources, it will take you quite awhile to get to that number. Dont fret though, keep working on your site and when you think its not goin to well, put more effort into it and sooner than later it will pick up. get feedback from your visitors and respond to them.

Revenue generally varies. If you can make a penny $.01 per visit, you're doing good. Arcades in general arent cash cows like some websites can be because there are alot of competition. You have to remember, Tier 1 traffic (US, UK, Can) is what you want as adverts pay much much better. One of my ads has an eCPM of almost $3.00. Its alot of trial and error and finding out what works for your site. What works for mine, or his, may not work for you and what doesnt work for me, may work for you. There are many business models you can follow for running an arcade. Once you think you know whats going on, research "traffic trading"
