Hey before buying I have some questions

I wanted to ask some questions before I bought.

I dont have a domain yet, can I still buy?

I saw something about v4 on sitepoint, so I have been waiting until I buy. But if I get v3 first, how much will the upgrade be? And how long till v4?

I registered at the demo I will ago, because I wanted to see the member page(I am working on a custom template.) Can user register at the demo?

You will need to enter the domain when you buy the script so that, the domain gets licensed.
Upgrade will be free. Scott is just ironing out some minor things right now. It is soon going to be released in beta.

Don't think so. Why don't you just decide on a domain and then purchase? Make it easy for everyone

lol, I am trying, I have thought of a lot of domains but they are always taken. I am trying to go with domains, with a cool sound to it lol. It cant contain arcade, online games, and etc. I do have on 2 arcade domain, but those are for different times.

You could buy all five But seriously Scott does not do domain changes. This is due to the wide spread piracy of the script and to protect the legitimate users of the script. Scott wants to combat piracy and therefore requires a valid domain the script will be used on permanently from the beginning. Without it there is no way to confirm you are a true holder of the script. And believe me I've seen what people have happen to them when using an illegal copy and trying to sell their website, Scott's handy 5 second checker to see if a website is licensed allows all legitimate users to check if the website being sold is not using a bootleg copy. If it is lets just say they get quite a few mean words thrown at them from other people

i couldn't but all five domains, I register all my domains at namecheap, thats like $40 >__> and I am not looking to scam as well , but I understand what you mean. When I wanted to buy my vB or IPB license I was very selective, because users where getting scammed left and right.

Anywho I picked the domain, I will be buying the script now.

Great to hear you decided to buy! But why namecheap? I use domainsite.com for all my domains MUCH less per year (I believe about $7) and I've used them for years now.

I used namecheap because it was one of the first domain registrars I heard of, and just kept on using it since all my domains are there.
