Imo, the design look cheap and blurry, like bad image quality.

I agree, The design could look good if done properly. Looks tacky to me though.

that is a nice design indeed, but i don't think it was handled properly. A lot of valuable space is wasterd. I recommend firstly centering the design. I like the menu a lot, but it seems that the image hover effect wasn't implemented and therefore only visible on one button?
