This is my first arcade so I'm kind of learning as I go here.  I used the free blue green template from scott and just changed the colors and images to better suit my site. Please let me know what you think - good, bad or ugly.  My wife actually hates my design, but I wanted to know what other owners thought. thanks in advance.

thats kinda harsh. It looks fine just try different colors or just use the default one ( the way it was before changing its colors)
everyone has different opinions Smiley

You have different templets... it dont match. Its like wearing green tops with  purple jeans. Dont match. Make it match and people will like it.

ok, i've made some pretty significant changes since I first posted.  I bought a psd template and coded it myself (first time so go easy). I think its coming together ok, but I still need some opinions on it. No one has really commented since the redesign. Thanks!

I like the top bar and side bar, but the white text on the side bar looks off, doesn't look good together, I would shrink the size a bit or change font and put a space between the top games played bar and the first game listed and add more space between the games listed. The games layout looks pretty bad just being white, there should be something around the sections. The banner at the bottom looks out of place as well, try making another section on the left nav bar and put all your banners there.

Loads way too slow. Try optimizing your images more. You said you bought a psd template, so im assuming you have photoshop. Instead of going to save as choose save for web and that should give you plenty of options to lower the file size with out much quality loss.

Or maybe its just your webserver is slow? Dont kno.

It's unique, but won't it conflict with future upgrades/mods for the script?

as long as you know what you're doing, nothing will conflict with anything Smiley

Yeah. Because when you want to upgrade the script, if you modified it too much, you might lose out on good stuff.

It looks to light for my liking, but that being said I like the rest of it. Just darken the colors, that should make it look tons better I think.
