* The control is super-responsive, and precise. No matter how quickly I moved my body, the game moved my avatar outline in synch with it. No jitters or lag whatsoever. Even though this is just a prototype, it works, and it works very well. There were zero “we’ll fix that in the final product”-style glitches.
* Project Natal uses the infrared spectrum, so you don’t have to set up floodlights to make it work, unlike purely camera-based technologies. They killed the lights and the room and I was able to continue to play with the only illumination coming from the projection screen.
* The skeleton tracking keeps other objects, people, and creatures from interfering with your onscreen character. One of the guys in the room reached in front of me and waved his arms, and it caused no problems. So you won’t have to worry about your pesky sister jumping in and ruining the game.
* The sensor can track multiple players, so look forward to some fun full-body co-op action.
* This controller allows for some serious, full-body exercise. You’ll get a workout in more than just your right arm.
