It's new.... and it's different.  I've tested it all I can but this is so different there is bound to be something that isn't right.

If something is broke it's my fault and not the creator who put it together for me.  Cause he did some really neat things.

The interactive aspect does not view well in 800 resolution it's really the only issue I've got that I know about.  Outside of the fact the search engines are going to hate it.

So take a look at the new home page for www.earrelaphant.com and please post  if something doesn't layout or work well for you on it.

or if you happen to like it.... Smiley

Thanks ... hope you like it...

^ why not?

---

The idea is great, i like the use of overlib.
The animations are tacky, and it takes a long time to load.
Apart from it looking a bit "cheesey" its great!
Nice idea.

I also like your "Favorite Icon" .. The sctolling effect is great, i did not know that was possible. (although when i add to favorites it dont work)

Nuweb I can't get the favicon to work anywhere on the site correctly for FF it displays the animated one just fine in the tab but won't do anything in bookmark.  Can't find the answer to that one.

I am pretty sure IE doesn't support animated Favicon but not sure about that .

yes please be honest...

yeah I wish I had better animated gifs to choose from but these are the best I have found so far.  And that took weeks for me..  not many resources to work with ..yet...Smiley

But tacky isn't all together bad if you have sense of humor... is it?

Yep. Very true. I was looking at your site in FF, now im in IE. Like you said, it doesent work.
Although, if you use a browser detection php, you could make nice use of it.

But in IE the dang favicon bookmarks correctly...  go figure..

by the way if ayone has a good source of animated gif's  or something stuck in a private collection  I sure would appreciate contributions.

The whole concept is to have the ability to shift things in and out all the time.  But I don't have anything to move in...Smiley

To be honest I'm not real happy with it either... Smiley

If your talking about the thing in total...

But you know Rome wasn't built in a day.  I'm just doing the best I can do.... without just being the same as yours or the next guys website.

Do you have anything specific to suggest or just don't like it.. cause why?

I've got some things in the works to maybe help the arcade...  I got stuck with the colors in the arcade and waiting for something before I go back to it.

And it looks like some relief for the design might show up as Scott gets the new script closer to release..  atleast I'm hoping...  I can deal with css lots better than tables..

But thanks for your thoughts...  your not alone ...Smiley

You don't like the home page either.. not the concept?.. nothing?... not sure what I can say.. but thanks....
