Optimized PNG Images (with watermark)

Hey guys, can you test out my site, see how the iamges are going:

You will notice images like these:


Which display the iamge name top left, and a overley of nuweb.co.uk on the image bottom left.

If you see any missing ones ( i carnt ) .. Please let me know, as what i have done is:
1. Get the original file
2. Convert to png
3. add text
4. save to images (under each cateagory id folder)

.. So im expecting problams, but it all looks fine so far.

Well, it ads bit of the games name, to the image, to easy identify it.
Helps me keep my images to myself (no one realy copies them)..
and they are all .png low file. so faster page loading.

also all 75x75 so small file size, and dont look "thatbad" with being resized on display.

I dont really like it. I dont think the blue matches the site and it looks strange to have watermarks on main page images like that especially with them being so small. The description is good idea but you just have half finished descriptions so knowone can really read them anyway.

You are correct about the colors, hmm.

I agree, that ebaums is annoying with implementing the "tagging" of things on items on his website.

But, even tough it blogs half of the image. It is a affective promotion.
Like when you go to "Asda" they have carria bags, with their name on.

Im not sure if i should put it on the main images, or not. (Good Promotion v's Good Images).
Not sure. The small nuweb watermark, does not effect the viewing of the content, so it will stay, as it does help to prevent other phpas and other entertainment script users from useing it.

Supermarkets using there name on bags is good because people walk through the streets holding them bags. How many people are really going to hotlink your main images? The images people normally hotlink are big images with something on them. Having your domain on every image on the main page isnt really promotion at all because the only people going to see them are the people already on the site and they know what your domain is anyway. Its a good idea to tag the images in your images section like youve done because there the type of images people will use i just dont think theres any point tagging every image.

I meant to compare supermarkets with the "larger images"
..
The only reason i am putting domain on the "thumbnails" is to help prevent people from stealing my content, (or much of my content) they can still steal the main items (.swf) but are unable to copy the thumbnails.

SO phpas, wget of thumbanails and swf, one be rite helpful to people on my site you see.
