Hi

Couldn't find a specific forum to enter this in or if we are allowed to submit this way but i was just wondering on 2 important features which we ourselves are struggling with but would be a great help with the script.

1. Report Broken Game Feature -
I know the existing broken game feature now works after the 4.1 upgrade which is great but if a user submits a broken game the admin cannot or is not notified of this, i only came accross this by accident when editing a game as it shows at the top, I now redirect the broken game to my contact page so they can submit that way and I am aware of it. A nice addition or what I think is badly needed is once admin logs into the admin area in the control panel it shows how many games have been reported broken and which ones.

2. Add To Favorites Feature -
When a user adds a game to their favorites list there is no way apart from going into the database to remove it, lets say a user adds a game to their favorites but over a period of time doesn't want it, there is no way a user can just remove from their favorites list or if they go onto the game page mentioned rather the text showing add to favorites change to remove from favorites which i think would be a great addition in future.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before or if there is an easier work around but apart from that a great script keep up the good work guys  Grin

Thanks
Alan

Hey Alan,

Thanks for the feature requests, I'll address them in order:

1. You are right, the admin panel does not display well enough when a game has been reported. In the v3 you would have a notice saying "X games have been reported". We will bring this back to the dashboard. Until then you can in your admin panel, go into: Games -> manage games and select "reported" from one of the dropdowns (I don't recall which dropdown it is off the top of my head) to see reported games. If its not listed you don't have any reported games.

2. The way it works right now is when a user has 5 favorites, and add a new one the first favorite gets pushed off the list, but as you say there is no way for the user to remove a favorite directly. I've added that to the favorite improvement point in our to-do list.

Hi Jan

Thanks for the info I have tested myself on reporting a game but nothing is shown in Games -> manage games and select "reported" from one of the dropdowns.

There is no such dropdown for reported so would be good to have the reported in the admin panel in a future release.

Thanks
Alan
